ARTWORK
This original, handmade acrylic painting is part of the 'Les ondes provençales' (Provence vibes) series by Ida du Lac.
Carved from the region's pale limestone, the Arles Arena has basked in the sun for almost two millennia - a silent testament to times past. Even as a child, Ida stood in wonder before its round-arched arcades, as if listening to the echo of ancient voices. In her eyes, the stones came alive, whispering stories of courage, beauty, and transience.
Hand signed and dated.Sealed with varnish to protect against dirt and light.
Framed and fitted with new mounts and ready to hang.
